High electricity prices affect the everyday lives of consumers, businesses and, not least, NGOs and sports clubs. Increased electricity costs mean that sports clubs must find ways to reduce expenses.

Such a dramatic increase in costs means that sports clubs have to cutback on their expenses to be able to afford to pay the electricity bill. For example, it could be turning off the lights on the facilities or that underfloor heating on artificial turf pitches is not turned on. In the worst case, this can lead to sports clubs having to increase membership and activity costs, says the survey from the Norwegian Sports Confederation.
Around the country, you can see sports facilities every evening where the lights are on, while there is no activity at the facility. This is a source of light pollution, can be an annoyance for neighbors, plus it results in an unnecessarily large electricity cost for the sports teams.

With pitch control, coaches and sports teams get full control. With the help of your mobile phone, you can easily dim the lighting system as needed and turn it on/off when necessary. For example, you can easily turn up the strength to 100% when playing a match, reduce to 50% when there is training and 20% when servicing.
This is done by setting up a set of rules that govern when the facility should be turned on and off. Within this time, you can adjust the light on the facility via an app on your mobile phone based on the need for more or less light.
Sports teams that use our solution, either on existing lighting systems or when they upgrade to LED lights, report reduced costs of as much as 70%.This is because the lights are only used when there is activity on thefacilities and are not on at full power when there are no matches or majorevents.
The combination of control and LED lights consumes much less electricity than old conventional light sources and keeps costs down.
