The Findus promenade is a jewel in Hammerfest. The area is the first thing you meet when you arrive by sea. With our solution, residents and tourists have an exciting and inviting place to move around.

Hammerfest is the first city in Norway and Northern Europe to get electric street lighting. In the municipality's guidelines for outdoor lighting, there are clear guidelines for using modern dynamic control of the lights, which can be dimmed up and down according to the natural lighting conditions that are special so far north.
The system at Finduspromenaden automatically regulates the lightintensity and is an energy-efficient lighting system.
The luminaires are equipped with both white and yellow light to create atmosphere and provide good lighting.
In the transition from dusk to daylight, the white light is used to achieve good conditions. The dynamic transition to the yellow light occurs in the evening when a more calm atmosphere is desired on the promenade. Throughout the night, the yellow light is dimmed down to nightlight mode, which ensures safety in the area.
Our gateway acts as a communication node between the control nodes and our server service in the cloud. 82 control nodes are installed in the light towers to control the LED light sources with white and yellow light.
In addition to the white and yellow lights, blue top lights have been installed in the poles as a safety for aircraft and helicopter traffic. The blue top light is connected to the rest of the street lights in Hammerfest and is switched on at the same time as all other lighting.
Hammerfest has a modern lighting system that the city's residents can be proud of.
