Smart vehicles on the roads
Fredrikstad municipality has over 500 vehicles and 3000 registered drivers. The vehicles are divided into different services and departments in the municipality. A large number of cars are used within healthcare, roads, water and traffic.
A large fleet requires a lot of management and planning. The need for an electronic mileage log and a total fleet management solution was desirable to improve and streamline daily work in several of the departments in the municipality.
The tender from the municipality was to provide functional solutions related to vehicle positioning, mileage log, traffic management and various fleet management solutions. We are proud that the municipality chose Datek as a supplier and that the municipality now has a solution in operation that simplifies their daily work.
